Not much to report on day 9. We spend the whole day killing time really. Woke up and had breakfast in the hostel and then wondered down to the market/riverside where we again got some bits and bob's.
Bought a sandwich from a nice little place and sat on the steps in the old town and ate.
In the afternoon we returned to the hostel and had a few beers on the balcony. We then head back to the old town to have some dinner. We had a set menu which was traditional Lyon food. We both had a salad with bacon and poached eggs for starter. This was lovely and could have done us both as a main the serving was so large. For the main I had some sort of meat in lentils and Rachel had some weird sausage thing. Mine was ok but nothing special. Rachel's was not nice at all and she hardly ate any.
When then head back to the hostel and hit the sack. Not a very eventful day really but it was a Sunday so not much was open. Hopefully we will get the van back fixed tomorrow and we can continue on the trip.
